What Is Artesian Water?
Artesian water comes from a confined underground aquifer. Natural pressure within the aquifer allows the water to move toward the surface.
Because the aquifer is separated from surface water, it is less exposed to surface pollution and contamination. As the water passes through natural underground layers, it is filtered and collects naturally occurring minerals.
This process produces clear and refreshing drinking water with a naturally balanced taste.
From Nordic Nature to You
A carefully controlled process helps maintain water quality from its underground source to the export terminal.
Pristine Nordic Environment
The artesian wells are located in the forest and lake regions.
Artesian Wells
Water is sourced from confined aquifers approximately 70 metres underground.
Natural Filtration
The water passes through natural underground layers of rock, sand and gravel.
Treatment and Quality Testing
The water is treated using an intensive oxygen supply. Iron particles form flakes that are retained by quartz sand filters. The treatment process does not chemically modify the water.
Delivery to the Port Terminal
The water is transported by pipeline to the treatment and transshipment facilities before export.

Flexible Bulk Supply Solutions
Flexitanks and Containers
Food-grade, single-use flexitanks provide an efficient solution for transporting drinking water in standard 20-foot shipping containers.
